Description
A most exciting architectural development for Genworth, originally the Christian Women’s Temperance Union, this building was in need of substantial repairs and renovations. The Genworth design team worked closely with council to satisfy the heritage sensitivities associated with the building. The significance of the building was indeed highlighted by the addition of a new cutting edge curved concrete structure complemented by glass and steel. The result has surpassed all expectations with the union of new and old.
