The answer came from our clients who, after purchasing Greystone and the adjoining block, invited us to enlarge their already magnificent garden and create an equally elegant display garage for their impressive car collection.
Nestling into the extended grounds behind custom-designed wrought-iron security gates, the new garage pavilion echoes the classic Georgian lines of the main residence. But more than simply complementing the home, the new addition elevates it.
The timber-clad tilt-up doors lift to reveal a vast garage and a glazed far-wall that bathes our clients’ stable of iconic cars in natural light. Atop the roof, solar panels charge a new battery storage system. Underfoot, tasteful large-format porcelain tiles. Beyond the wall of windows, the expanded walled garden, with mature Japanese box hedges and espalier crab-apple trees providing the backdrop for the feature weeping mulberry.
